AI Receptionist is one of Gonzo Digital's nine fixed-price systems. It costs $1,800 to set up and $800 a month, in US dollars, and goes live 14 business days after a signed scope and the deposit. It is for clinics, salons and trades where the phone is the main sales channel (chat is covered today; phone calls are not built yet). Anything it sends on its own says it is from an AI.

Client results. This page describes what the system can do, not what it has done for someone. We will publish a result only when a real client has earned it and agreed to be named.
Each row says what exists today and what has to be true before it runs for you. "Tested in the sandbox" means tested against simulated services.
| Connection | Status today | What going live needs |
|---|---|---|
| Phone line and voice gateway | Not built. The agent handles text turns only: no telephony account, no gateway chosen and no speech engine exists. | Choosing and building a telephony gateway and a voice adapter. This is the largest piece still open. |
| Web chat | Built, tested in the sandbox. | A chat widget on your site. |
| Calendar (Google or Microsoft) | Built against a sandbox calendar with fixed hours. | A calendar adapter: an integration-router key, a slot map and a first live test. |
| Confirmations by email or WhatsApp | Built. A confirmation goes by email when the contact has an address and has agreed to service messages. Otherwise a person is flagged. | Email sending access. WhatsApp confirmations are out of scope. |
| Your CRM | Writes a booking line to Gonzo's own CRM log in the sandbox. | A CRM adapter, checked per CRM before you sign. |
| Your knowledge base, hours and average booking value | Supplied by you. | The answers it may give, your opening hours, and what a booking is worth to you (for the estimate). |
Chat today. Voice needs a telephony gateway that is not chosen or built yet.
The AI Receptionist answers web chat: bookings, FAQs and routing, with calendar booking that prevents double-booking and a handoff to a person for anything outside its script. It has run only against simulated callers and a simulated calendar, never against a live phone line, voice gateway or calendar.
Phone calls are not built: there is no telephony account and no speech engine. Until there are, the Receptionist does not pick up a phone. A voice, when there is one, will be plainly synthetic, will say it is an AI and will never be a copy of a real person's voice.
The Outreach Engine is text only. Nothing here makes cold calls.
Yes. The lead, reception, outreach and support systems each hand over to a person: the Lead Response Engine the moment a lead asks something it cannot answer, the AI Receptionist for anything outside its script, the Outreach Engine the moment a lead replies, and the E-commerce Support Assistant the instant something is not a confident, rule-based answer.
It uses the official WhatsApp Business API, and only that. A reply inside the 24-hour window after a customer writes needs no template. A message outside the window needs an approved template and an opted-in contact. Messaging strangers and cold sends are not done, because WhatsApp's policy allows contact only with people who opted in. Broadcasts go only to opted-in contacts.
The API is reached through a provider. Whether your current number can be used, and what your setup needs, a person will check with you before you sign.
It depends on the product, and the build names what it reads:
The exact checklist for your system is agreed when scope is signed. The full list is not on file, so a person will give it to you.
Yes, the systems are AI, and they say so. The first message a system sends on its own, on chat, email or WhatsApp, states that it is an AI. That is built into the sending step. There is no setting to switch it off.
Voice is not built yet. A voice, when there is one, will be plainly synthetic, will say it is an AI and will never be a copy of a real person's voice.
This answer box is not AI. It searches a fixed list of written answers.
We cannot promise it never gets something wrong. No system can, and we will not say so.
What it is built to do instead:
Quotes go out by hand, invoices go out late, and chasing payment is an afterthought.
You have a target list and no consistent way to work it. Leads sit unscored, outreach is inconsistent, and nobody can tell you which ones are actually worth a call.
Every order-status question and return request eats a support ticket, and by the time someone answers, the customer is already frustrated, or has filed a chargeback.
Send one web address. In about five business days you get a short written report. If a system fits, a fixed-price scope follows.
Free audit, no accounts, we change nothing.
